September 2010Going to the ConclaveTomorrow I fly to the US to attend the ten-yearly Rules Conclave of our Order, being held this time at Shasta Abbey in northern California. I'm working my way through my list of last-minute things to do, so will keep this brief.
Festival of Great Master DogenLast Sunday we celebrated the Festival of Great Master Eihei Dogen, the founder of Soto Zen in Japan in the 13th century. As Dogen holds such an important place in our tradition study of his teachings is highly recommended.
