Meditation DaysThe priory is open for anyone to come and practice during a silent day with 35 minute meditation periods on the hour every hour from 9am to the last period at 5pm. Each meditation period is followed by 10 minutes of optional walking meditation and a 15 minute break. This offers you the opportunity to schedule your own retreat for a day. You can learn to listen - What is good for you to do just now? This may be tor reflect, rest or have the opportunity for reading in the quiet of the priory, as well, of course, to do meditation.
Spiritual counselling is not generally available on these days so as to keep the day silent and focussed entirely on meditation, but please ask if you find that this would be of help to you. |
