Reading Buddhist Priory

Once or twice a month, usually on Wednesday or Saturday, we hold a day retreat at the Priory. The retreat starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm. You may come for all, or part, of the day. Please ring or email a few days beforehand to let us know that you are coming. If you will be here for lunch please bring vegetarian food to share.

As well as a number of periods of meditation, the day includes some working meditation and a talk on an aspect of Buddhist teaching with the chance to ask questions. Private spiritual counselling is also available.

On this retreat, the afternoon ceremony will be the Reading of The Precepts.
